Join us in the Family Village Field at 2 pm Thursday, where we create a HUGE spiral dance welcoming everyone back to the fairgrounds for another great year! The Arts House will be open to making parade decorations and our own Kids Parade Flag. High Sierra is the festival of parades and Every Day there is at least one parade to join with your very style! Come prompt- as we have a limited amount of supplies.

Pamela Parker's Little Bears
Come shake and groove with music that makes you move featuring singer/guitarist Pamela Parker, drummer Chris McGrew, bassist Spence Murray, guitarist Tom Finch and keyboard player Jordan Feinstein from the rock funk soul band, Pamela Parker's Fantastic Machine. They will lead the group in rhythm exercises, call and response, improvisation and some fun songs you can dance and sing along to with your kids. Puppet Plex Presents: The Presidential Puppet
The Presidential Puppet is Puppet Plex's latest hilarious multimedia Puppet play. Steering clear of Politics by addressing issues head-on that most other Puppets refuse to address:  the environment, GMO's and education.  

Once a Puppet always a Puppet, but this, Ladies and Gentleman, is not your ordinary Puppet! Accompanied by highest ranking members of his Farmers Cabinet, the Presidential Puppet will be held accountable to the Fruits and Nuts out there.

Created by Jonathan Youtt, founder of Puppet Plex, you can be guaranteed a lot of healthy laughter in the Presidential Puppet. Puppet Plex brings the whole audience into the conversation. The youngest will be inspired with common sense to work for the greater good; while the oldest in the audience may be surprised to see a Puppet in office-- then again, maybe not.  

Either way, everyone will be empowered; having seen a Farmers Cabinet that is on the side of sustainability for the animals and plants as well as the humans, and how with full audience participation even a Puppet can work for the Greater good.

Ukulele classes with Mikey begin with the beginner lesson. Learn basic chords and chord chart notation, strumming patterns and some fun and easy songs. With more advanced players Mikey will move into teaching Beatles songs with some great arrangements that can be made simple or complex for lots of Beatles and solo Beatle works. (Lennon, McCartney, Harrison) Maybe Mikey and students will even form a Ukulele band that can play in the Kids Parade and Talent Show on Sunday!

Puppet Plex Presents: The Presidential Puppet
The Presidential Puppet is Puppet Plex's latest hilarious multimedia Puppet play. Steering clear of Politics by addressing issues head-on that most other Puppets refuse to address:  the environment, GMO's and education.  

Once a Puppet always a Puppet, but this, Ladies and Gentleman, is not your ordinary Puppet! Accompanied by highest ranking members of his Farmers Cabinet, the Presidential Puppet will be held accountable to the Fruits and Nuts out there.

Created by Jonathan Youtt, founder of Puppet Plex, you can be guaranteed a lot of healthy laughter in the Presidential Puppet. Puppet Plex brings the whole audience into the conversation. The youngest will be inspired with common sense to work for the greater good; while the oldest in the audience may be surprised to see a Puppet in office-- then again, maybe not.  

Either way, everyone will be empowered; having seen a Farmers Cabinet that is on the side of sustainability for the animals and plants as well as the humans, and how with full audience participation even a Puppet can work for the Greater good.

Ukulele classses with Mikey begin with the beginner lesson. Learn basic chords and chord chart notation, strumming patterns and some fun and easy songs. With more advanced players Mikey will move into teaching Beatles songs with some great arrangements that can be made simple or complex for lots of Beatles and solo Beatle works. (Lennon, McCartney, Harrison) Maybe Mikey and students will even form a Ukulele band that can play in the Kids Parade and Talent Show on Sunday!
